First off we’ve got the awesome bluesy BRUTE CHORUS, who are releasing their first single off their loooong time coming self titled debut. ‘Send Me A Message’ will be released as a digital download on 5th October – two weeks before the album, which was recorded live at The Roundhouse’s FreeDM studios. They’re also playing on August 29 @ 93 Ft East and then on September 10th @ The Borderline. Below you will find the incredibly hard to read banner for their date at 93ft East.

Next up we’ve got the hotly tipped folksters Mumford and Sons announcing their debut album,’Sigh No More’, that is a long time coming as well. After their amazing sets that I caught at SXSW (I saw three and a half different shows, all were amazing), this album looks to be one of the best of the year.
The Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Bjork) produced record was recorded in the Spring, and will be released through Gentlemen Of The Road/Island Records on 5th October.
A single, ‘Little Lion Man’, will precede the album on 28th September. The video for the single will be premiered at London’s Borderline on 24th August, where they’ll also be playing live. They also have an October tour with a stop in Brighton on Oct 6th @ The Komedia.

Finally, we’ve got FANFARLO who are finally getting an actual release on their amazing album ‘Reservoir”. Fanfarlo’s debut album was released digitally through their official site (for just $1) earlier in the year, as well as in a limited edition boxset exclusively sold through Rough Trade, but it’ll be getting a proper general release this September.
Released through their own label, the record will be available on 28th September. Produced and recorded by Peter Katis (The National, Interpol) at his home studio in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
