Before Franz Ferdinand and before 1990s, The Yummy Fur were bopping through Scotland with jagged riffs and thinly-veiled innuendos about plastic cowboys. They disbanded in 1999, and we all know what former members Alex Kapranos and Paul Thomson would go on to do. And of course, Jackie McKeown formed NRBW-faves 1990s and we all figured The Yummy Fur’s tunes would be forever locked away in the vaults of time.
BUT WE WERE WRONG
THEY’RE BACK, at least for a little bit, and it’s going to be glorious. Get ready.
The Yummy Fur reportedly play:

San Francisco Cafe du Nord (18)
Portland Suicide Club (20)
