Found this LA based band through one of my previous internships and caught their set at April’s Waved Out festival and ended up really enjoying what they were doing. I had a little theory that my boss loved bands with male/female singers and this one was no different – both have fantastic voices and the interplay between them is awesome. The Needle Drop said they combine cold electronics with somber songwriting, and while I can’t say that’s a fact – I really enjoyed the warmth and bursting energy of their live set – they’re definitely worth being checked out.
