You guys, seriously, who is stoked for this show? I am! Happy Birthday were awesome at their SXSW showcase for Subpop. That’s right, Subpop signed King Tuff and crew after 3 shows. Hearing a song like ‘Girls FM’, I completely understand why. This band is awkward-teenage-fun times mixed with hooks, riffs for days and best of all – King Tuff’s howling caterwaul. Their self-titled debut, out earlier this month, is one of my new favorite albums of the year.
