Our friends over at Weekly Tape Deck just introduced us to this fantastic Minnesotan band (words I really wasn’t sure I’d utter in the course of my life — fly over states). Velvet Davenport are providing some great late-summer jams – When You Are Out, off their new LP White Blue, is an incandescent, floaty little jam with a pinch of shimmer and a tad psychy: the perfect hot summer cool off, breezy and catchy as hell. It’s off their LP, White Blue, as I said which is 7 tracks long. It can be bought separately or as a package deal with Moon Glyph’s vinyl compilation, Regolith Vol. 1.
