Atlanta’s psychy N.E.C has been going on since 2000 and of course, I’m captain of the slow caboose on the last train and am just getting into them. They’ve got a new album, Is, out now on Double Phantom Records. That gem is a cut from Is, ‘Those Guilty Pleasures’ and it seems to be the perfect mix of garagey guitar mixed with an ever so slight bit of pysch and a heavy hand of reverb – basically something created specifically to tick my boxes.
