And rounding off the ‘tracks I wanted to post pre-SXSW’, I have this really grungy, skuzzed out Athenian garagepunk band called Bazooka. The name makes me think of the weird dorks in school who were really into weird shit like war and stuff and always knew the names of guns. Except these learned how play instruments and wrote a perverted classic, so rightly entitled ‘I Want To Fuck All The Girls In My School‘. This some shit that deserves to be played really, really loudly. The droning guitars and weird, almost chanting vocals contribute to this really dark vibe that culminates with (if you’re anything like me) shouting the ‘I Want To Fuck All The Girls In My School’ chorus over some really bright and catchy guitars — then it’s right back to weirdness. This is sleezy and wonderful.
