Does this blog post too much garage pop and not enough shit noisy garage for your taste? Perfect, Zyklon Beach are here to fix this. They’re totally on the same wave length as fellow Frenchies Catholic Spray, in fact, they released a limited edition cassette together last November through White Moon Recordings/Inch Allah Records. These French bros make some really grimey, sloppy jams that aren’t as immediate as most of the stuff I post, but each song have pop at the heart of their dark, noisy blasts of guitar fuzz. This is the kind of shit that I want to hear when I’m in a bar with a stone-walled downstairs with a set of really weird faint red lights, dungeon style. I hope you all ignore the previously written shit because whatever my dumb brain comes up with isn’t going to compare to how awesome Zyklon Beach are.
