The other day in the office someone was playing the Wu Tang song that samples Wendy Rene‘s After Laughter (Comes Tears) and like the Clan before me, I’m entranced by that little organ solo and despite the less than flattering photograph, Rene’s voice is haunting and girlish and soulful all at once. So really, needless to say this is just a really incredible song and if for some reason, you haven’t heard it, I would probably right that wrong, right now.
