I don’t talk about this at all really on the blog, but I am a HUGE supporter of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Not only do I think their show on Animal Planet, Whale Wars, is one of the most ridiculously compelling shows on TV, but I have myself volunteered for their organization to help put a stop to the illegal Japanese whaling operations in the Southern Ocean waters. Not only have they, this whaling season, shut the fuck down those illegal Japanese ‘research’ whalers, but they’re coming to SXSW 2011 with a party collaborating with popantipop!!!
