Okay, I know everyone on the entire internet is wetting themselves over this Ducktails jam right now, but it’s pretty damn good. It’s just like summer — some real eazy, breezy shit right here. It came on Shuffler.FM like eight times yesterday and I didn’t change the song any of those eight times.

For some reason, I’ve been holding off on listening to Ducktails even though I’ve heard I’d really like them. That’s just me, contrary for absolutely no reason. But when GvsB pimped their new song called ‘Art Vandalay’, I knew I had to hear them. Anything with any minor reference to George Costanza or his real life persona, Larry David, is probably something I’ll be at least mildly interested in. If you’re as depressed as me about the passing of summer (and don’t live in California where summer never ends) — then this jam is perfect for you. It will appear as the b-side to Ducktail’s new Olde English Spelling Bee 7″ single, with a reworked version appearing on his upcoming Woodsist LP, Ducktails III : Arcade Dynamics.

Ducktails is playing the Prince Albert in Brighton on September 20th! Don’t miss.
